The base2stay in London combines the comfort of luxury lodging with the most budget-friendly type of service: self-service. The base2stay offers rooms starting at 81₤ with beds, private bathrooms and a mini kitchen, no more, no less, which is, essentially, all most short-term travelers need anyway.
The base2stay is a no-frills accommodation yet still offers luxuries like free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. The self-service features are hidden in a cupboard which offers a microwave, kettle, fridge, dishes and cutlery as well as fair trade coffee and tea. Sounds like most hotels in North America, but base2stay is a unique concept for Europe; it doesn’t offer a bar, restaurant, spa or fitness facility.
