Spaceport America Will Launch You Out of This World
The world’s first commercial spaceport, called Spaceport America, started being constructed in New Mexico last Friday. Spaceport America will host commercial operations by private space travel companies like that of Virgin Galactic.
The design for this new, commercial space industry was created by American and British architects, who were chosen after competing in an international design competition.
