We unearthed a few more Fourth of July events worth a mention—still precious few fireworks shows to pass along, but if that’s all you cared about, you’d probably be staying home anyway. Everyone knows the fireworks in Vegas happen on the stage and the dance floor, baby, and here’s where you can find them:
Jay-Z will be performing this Friday and Saturday at The Pearl Theater at The Palms. Tickets range from $129 to $229, and can be purchased here.
Mandalay Bay Beach is hosting fireworks at 9 p.m., just before its Mystic Roots beach concert. Vegas.com advises that these fireworks will be visible really only to concertgoers and guests of the hotel with pool-facing rooms, so we’re not really sure why they same Web site is touting…
VooDoo Lounge atop the Rio as the place to “watch the fireworks from the Strip up close and personal”—we can’t find any evidence that there are any other July 4th fireworks shows going on anywhere on the Strip. VooDoo does have a $100 open-bar package that night, though, and you may be able to spot the fireworks at various outerlying hotel-casinos (like those at all nine Station Casinos) from its location 50 stories up. by Erika Pope - VegasChatter
